Major League Beard

The most brilliant follicle of beard advertising possibly EVER.
Warlock, ninja, beard olympics, BEARD - now we're getting somewhere, Brian.
With lots of little random surprises hidden in the nappy folds, make sure to catch some happy trees with the Bob Ross look a-like before returning to your other internet trolling. Not sure how this relates directly to baseball - but who CARES. This is the ONLY person I'd want to hit a home run with and its not on a baseball field.

Mega-fun Beard

Indie folk songsters Megafaun have recently released a new video for their song "Carolina Days." Beautifully art directed, well executed, and full of humorous nuances that put their own spin on the history of North Carolina, this left me grinning and heart happy. I have to say - the actress in this kind of stole the show. Loincloths, british soldiers, "clown" tents, and BEARDS...my only criticism: next video: BEARDS. MORE. BEARDS.

Snatch up Megafaun's latest release heretofore here.

New Yorkers can also catch a stroke or 2 at their upcoming show on April 16th at the Music Hall of Burgness.

Rainbow Beard

Um, just when I thought advertising couldn't exploit the bearded man more, I come across this today. Wonder how much they paid bearded cat man to do this? It doesn't get bearder, ..errr...weirder!

Tasty Mountain Beard

This new slice of random beard tastiness comes from our friends at Quiznos, who have launched a campaign to introduce a new sandwich called the Chicken Bacon Dipper.I can just imagine sitting in the casting heaven for this one, although I can't say I'm particularly drawn to this man or his ginger beard. He seems more like a circus spectacle and less of a flavor saver to me. "Kaw! Kaw!"

Right Now Beard

I recently ran across a few short online documentaries of conceptual artist Lawrence Weiner. Both videos present Weiner as a practical thinker, a social theorist, a poet, a type perfectionist, and a strikingly captivating human. Honestly, I've found myself more interested in Weiner as a person over an artist, although I've realized after watching these interviews, that I should give his artwork another shot. He's officially in my "Top 10 People Living You'd Die to Have Coffee With."
How can I not love a smart man with a gorgeous brain that matches that beautiful silver dust ruffle on his face? Bummed I missed his retrospective at the Whitney a few years ago, but if you find yourself in the NYC area, he's got a permanent installation out at Dia Beacon well worth checking out. Photographer Erik Madigan Heck also recently completed a photo series of my new favorite silver fox.

Man of Size Beard

Oh my my, Aaron Draplin, what can I say?! I love this guy.
He turned me on a few months ago after watching an interview of him at an art show he opened back in Minneapolis. Post watching this clip today, he stole my lil heart; maybe even reaffirmed my ever growing love for the city of Portland, Oregon.
Extra credit slash chuckles in this video for calling out my boy Corey Grove of Cobra Dogs - who Draplin calls a "Shady Dude."
